In 2013 I came to Australia and travelled around the whole country over three months (almost the whole country: I missed out Darwin, and there’s a lot of WA that I am yet to see). Within three weeks I knew I wanted to move here, but didn’t know which city felt like home.
In 2016 I returned to Australia – the picture shows the sun setting over a vineyard in Tasmania on Christmas Eve half way through my trip – and on my second day in Sydney, I knew this was the city I was going to live in.
So I said ‘So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen‘ to England, and ‘G‘Day Mate‘ to a new life in Australia!
